MIXED INLAY

The mixed Inlay allows the creation of many different types of designs through the assembly of different materials and types of wood. You can re-create the company logo or a family portrait, just to mention some examples.

The materials used for this technique are different types of natural essences such as wood and nacre or copper, brass, steel, special kinds of fabric or leather.

SHADING

The shading technique consists in putting in contact the wood already shaped for the inlay with burning sand long enough to give it a burnt and aged effect.

This unique process gives a more three-dimensional effect to every single inlay piece and, depending on the hue of the essence, it highlights the veining of the wood.

PAINTING PROCESS

The painting takes place in a controlled-humidity environment in order to ensure a perfect homogeneity of the color on the surface, both to touch and to the eye.

Our craftsmen use specific techniques depending on the specific requests. The entire painting process is handmade, we do not use industrial machinery in order to ensure constant control at every stage of the process.
